Alongside hands-on first aid training and real-life emergency scenarios, participants can also learn the fundamentals of child car restraint fitting, giving you complete peace of mind from the moment you buckle up.
Through guided, hands-on learning, you’ll walk away with the knowledge and confidence to respond quickly and effectively to common emergencies involving babies and young children, and the assurance that they’re travelling safely every day.
In this session you’ll learn to:
- Perform CPR for infants and children
- Respond to choking emergencies
- Recognise and manage fevers and seizures
- Treat burns and common childhood injuries
- Know when and how to call emergency services
- Prepare your home and family for emergencies
- Correctly fit and adjust a child car restraint
