Access to education and life-saving knowledge should never be limited. Ksafet was founded on the belief that empowering individuals with practical skills and shared learning experiences can create lasting community impact. As a certified social enterprise, we are committed to growing responsibly while contributing to stronger, safer communities. Our long-term vision includes achieving B-Corp certification, reinforcing our commitment to transparency, social impact, and purpose-driven business.
Our mission is to deliver practical, tailored training that equips people with the skills and confidence to build safer, more resilient workplaces and communities.
At KsafeT, our team brings together more than 30 years of combined experience in healthcare and education. Simon Hastings, a registered paramedic with over 15 years of experience in pre-hospital emergency care and professional training, works alongside Amanda, a Senior Speech Pathologist with a strong passion in Public Health Education. Together, they deliver evidence-based training in first aid, mental health awareness, and family safety, helping individuals, workplaces, and communities build the confidence and skills needed to respond when it matters most.

Our Social Enterprise component unpacked.
We are not just a training provider; we are a certified social enterprise dedicated to generating a tangible ripple effect in the community.
Supporting Fathers in the Workplace
Our groundbreaking partnership with Dads Group represents a unique initiative in workplace support and safety education. Born from personal experience as a father of four young children, this collaboration addresses a crucial gap in workplace programs by combining practical safety training with dedicated support for fathers.
Through interactive breakfast sessions and specialised workshops, fathers are provided with the opportunity to build connection, foster personal growth and share the journey of fatherhood.
This partnership goes beyond traditional workplace training by fostering a culture where fathers feel equipped, supported, and confident in their dual roles as professionals and parents. By encouraging early help-seeking behaviors and building lasting resilience, we’re creating stronger, more capable teams both at work and at home.
Sustainability Commitment
Our focus on sustainability is built on three key pillars:
As a certified social enterprise, Ksafet is committed to creating lasting positive impact through education and training. Every program we deliver contributes to strengthening individuals, teams, and the communities they are part of.
Our approach focuses on:
• Building long-term resilience by strengthening support networks within workplaces and communities
• Delivering practical, evidence-informed training that responds to modern workplace challenges
• Prioritising people and wellbeing as the foundation of safe and supportive environments
Through this commitment, we aim to create a lasting ripple effect—supporting organisations and communities to become safer, more prepared, and better equipped to support one another.
Training Philosophy
At Ksafet, we believe people learn best by doing. Our training moves beyond traditional classroom instruction to create practical, engaging learning experiences that build real confidence in emergency situations.
Drawing on frontline paramedic experience and professional teaching practice, our courses focus on developing the skills, judgement, and communication needed to respond effectively when it matters most.
Participants engage in hands-on learning through realistic scenarios, guided practice, and small group coaching. This approach allows individuals to develop practical skills while gaining the confidence to apply them in real-world situations.
Our training includes:
• Practical CPR and emergency response skills using infant and child manikins
• Realistic scenario-based learning that reflects everyday situations
• Small group coaching and guided skill development
• Age-appropriate recovery and casualty care techniques
• Safe and confident use of first aid equipment including AEDs
• Practical wound care and bandaging techniques
By combining real-world experience with meaningful learning, our courses ensure participants leave not only with knowledge, but with the confidence and capability to act when it matters most.
At KsafeT, our training is shaped by real-world experience and a deep commitment to meaningful education. Led by a registered paramedic and experienced educator, our programs combine frontline emergency care knowledge with strong teaching practice to create engaging and practical learning environments.
Our courses address the full spectrum of workplace safety, equipping participants with the skills and confidence to respond to both physical emergencies and mental health challenges. From high-pressure situations requiring immediate first aid to recognising and supporting individuals experiencing mental health difficulties, we focus on building real capability that extends beyond the workplace and into everyday life.
While all of our training aligns with Australian safety standards and/or national training requirements, we go beyond compliance to create learning experiences that genuinely empower individuals and strengthen teams.
As a certified social enterprise, our work is driven by a broader purpose—to build safer, more resilient workplaces and communities through education, shared knowledge, and practical skill development.
People We Collaborate With
At KsafeT, our commitment is simple: to deliver meaningful training that genuinely prepares people to respond when it matters most. All of our trainers are experts in their respective field and have extensive experience in the pre hospital and emergency care settings.
Whether we are delivering professional certifications, facilitating family-focused workshops, or supporting organisations to strengthen workplace wellbeing, our focus remains the same—providing practical, engaging learning experiences that build confidence, resilience, and real-world capability.
We understand that every workplace and community faces different challenges. That is why our programs are designed to be flexible, practical, and responsive to the needs of the people we work with.
As a certified social enterprise, our work goes beyond training alone. We are committed to creating a lasting positive impact by strengthening the knowledge, confidence, and support networks that help individuals, teams, and communities stay safe and prepared.
